Kareo Validation Error: Your Claims Cannot Be Submitted Without a Valid Adjudication Date

Rejection typically flagged when billing to the secondary and the primary’s payment posting is missing the adjudication date. To correct the error message, "Your claims cannot be submitted without a valid adjudication date from the other payer's payment" follow these steps:


1. Encounters > Track Claim Status > Search and Open Claim.

2. Review transaction lines and look for one with “payment #” within the line.

3. Double-click the Payment line to get to the Edit Payment window.

4. Select Adjudication Date on Edit Payment and save.

5. Rebill claims.
